I attended Alcorn State University, where I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I went on to obtain my Master's Degree from Alcorn on a scholarship while teaching. I moved to the Brookhaven School District in 2012, where I started my career in Library-Media Science. 

Experience                                                                                                                                                           This is my 13th year as a librarian. I previously worked in grades first and fifth. 

Bio                                                                                                                                                                            I was born and raised in Mississippi. I have always loved reading. I would have three or four books with me at all times. In high school, I would go to the library and retrieve the books they were about to discard, then place them on the bookcase my father had made.
