· Prior Knowledge: · Student performs Solfege/Kodaly/Curwen hand signals. · Study of notes and rests values.
· Activities/Centers: · Daily vocalise and body warm-ups. Bellringer: In place body percussions. Review handouts: Solfege and notes and rests value. · Complete Lesson 1 (The Staff) worksheet. · Begin teaching voice parts to “Koukuburra”.
· Closure: · Inform students of assessment on Friday September 18, 2020 on solfege hand signals.
